About

Academic/senior service librarian ("Bibliotheksassessor"). Since early 2019 I have been working as a Librarian at the University of Texas Libraries in Austin, Texas. My current role is Head of Preservation and Digital Stewardship.

Librarian

From 2012-2014 librarian-in-training at the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin (Berlin State Library) and the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek (Bavarian State Library) in Munich; from 2015 to 2018 academic librarian in various roles at the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina.

Areas of interest include: Open Access and Open Science processes, services, and advocacy; digitisation of rare materials; digital preservation; metadata modelling and management; linked (open) data; management of user services; policy and advice

Psycholinguist

M.A. in linguistics and English (language, literature & culture, "Anglistik") from U Leipzig. From 2008-2012 researcher with AULIN, an interdisciplinary project on speaking and comprehending language under adverse, noisy conditions at U Oldenburg. Ph.D. from U Oldenburg, defended in 2014, with doctoral thesis on Strategies and Mechanisms for Language Production in Noise.

Areas of interest include: sentence processing-for-production and -for-comprehension, syntactic priming, agreement attraction, cognitive foundations of language processing, memory psychology, dual task methodology.
